Can't Get Enough Leo?

Of course he's always been on my radar - you couldn't escape the guy in 1997. However, it wasn't until The Aviator hit theaters in 2004 that made me think "Wow, this guy can actually act." But it was his mind blowing performance in The Departed that turned me from a semi fan into a huge, I love this guy fan. Leonardo DiCaprio is one of my all time favorite actors and my love for him will continue to grow. He has definitely come into his own and it's his time to shine. With each role, he always does an amazing job, giving it his all, 110% all the way. As an actor, I will say it's sad how extremely underrated he is. How many times has this amazing actor been nominated for an Oscar and lost even though he deserved to win? (shakes head) TOO MANY TIMES! I think this actor has so much talent it's insane. If you don't believe me take a look at these two trailers below.

Paramount debuted the official trailer a while ago for Martin Scorsese's Shutter Island starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, Emily Mortimer, Michelle Williams, Max von Sydow, and Jackie Earle Haley. What an amazing cast to say the least. This movie looks pretty intense not to mention incredible. The performances all seem exceptional, DiCaprio especially. Could this be the role that wins him his long overdue Oscar? Look for this movie early next year, February 19, 2010.

The story of two U.S. marshals, Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo), who are summoned to a remote and barren island off the cost of Massachusetts to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a murderess from the island's fortress-like mental hospital for the criminally insane.

Will you be seeing this movie in theaters?

After showing in theaters this past weekend in front of Inglourious Basterds, Warner Brothers has debuted the official teaser trailer for Christopher Nolan's Inception. Even though this teaser isn't long it's still looks pretty awesome. I love teasers that give you just enough to where you're begging for more. Not only does this movie have a great director and an amazing cast, but it hasn't even finished shooting yet, they're still working in Paris. Even the bit of Hans Zimmer's score we hear sounds pretty rad. Look for this movie next summer, July 16, 2010.

A thriller set within the architecture of the mind about a CEO who is involved in a blackmailing scandal.

I know right! I was gonna pick that book for bookclub, but choose Monkeywrench instead. Bummer:( At least I'll be surprised when Shutter Island hit theaters.
