Must Watch: A Nightmare on Elm Street Final Trailer

Source: MySpace

Warner Bros has debuted the final trailer for Platinum Dunes' A Nightmare on Elm Street remake starring Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger as well as Rooney Mara, Kyle Gallner, Kellan Lutz, Thomas Dekker and Clancy Brown. The first Teaser Trailer for A Nightmare on Elm Street debuted last September, so we haven't seen anything new for a while, and it's great to see a really well put together trailer like this one. I'm not a die hard Nightmare on Elm Street fan, but I do enjoy a good scary movie and I can say the look of this new one looks fantastic. Now even though Johnny Depp isn't in this remake (like he was in the 1984 original), I'm definitely interested in checking it out.

A new reimagining of the horror icon Freddy Krueger, a serial-killer who wields a glove with four blades embedded in the fingers and kills people inside their dreams, resulting in their real death in reality, too.

A Nightmare on Elm Street is directed by first-time filmmaker Samuel Bayer, who got his start directing commercials. The screenplay was co-written by Eric Heisserer and Wesley Strick (The Saint, Doom). This is a remake of Wes Craven's original Nightmare on Elm Street horror classic from 1984. New Line / Warner Brothers is bringing A Nightmare on Elm Street to theaters on April 30th.

Must Watch: Two Brand New TV Spots for Clash of the Titans

Source: TheMovieBox

I know I've written a lot posts regarding this movie, but these two new TV spots are fantastic! They aired a couple nights ago during the Olympics. I think this movie looks great and I can not wait to see it! Check out that scene in the first TV spot below with Perseus (Sam Worthington) meeting Pegasus for the first time - it's very similar to the scene from the original. I feel like they've paid the original 1981 version true homage with this. I guess we'll find out how true in about a month. I hope I'm right!

Watch the second new TV spot for Louis Leterrier's Clash of the Titans:

Follows Perseus and his quest to battle Medusa and the Kraken in order to save his love, Princess Andromeda.

Clash of the Titans is directed by French filmmaker Louis Leterrier, of Unleashed, Transporter 2, and The Incredible Hulk previously. The screenplay was originally written by Lawrence Kasdan (Raiders of the Lost Ark) then later revised by Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi (both of Crazy/Beautiful, The Tuxedo, Aeon Flux). This is a remake of Desmond Davis' original 1981 classic movie of the same name. Warner Brothers will be bringing Clash of the Titans to regular 2D and 3D theaters everywhere starting on April 2nd.
