Happy 47th Johnny!

Photobucket

It bothers me a bit when people think I like this actor sole based on his good looks. While he’s definitely gorgeous, there’s no denying that, this beautiful man has a staggering amount of talent to back up those devastatingly good looks and charm. He embodies every role he takes - transcending them if you will. He has the ability to make us forget we’re even watching a Johnny Depp movie. Through the years he’s made a fabulous career out of playing odd ball roles. That’s part of his charm and we love him for that. You can truly see he thoroughly enjoys his craft. Pirates of the Caribbean, Benny & Joon, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Edward Scissorhands, and Blow are just a few of my favorite Depp movies. This quirky and extremely versatile actor exudes sex appeal daily with those high cheekbones and those soulful brown eyes. It blows minds how the chiseled actor doesn't get the fuss about his own allure. "I have no idea," he says.

He is without doubt one of my all time favorite actors. I look forward to seeing what's in store for him in the future. Thanks Johnny, for bringing us some of the best entertainment and talent Hollywood has to offer. Hats off to you!

We hope you have a wonderful &
happy birthday!

The birthday boy is currently filming The Tourist, staring alongside Angelina Jolie and Paul Bettany, where he plays an American tourist visiting Italy to mend a broken heart. This movie will hit theaters next February. Other projects include; The Rum Diary due out later this year. Rango and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides both set for release next year. And he is rumored to be in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Sin City 3 both due out in 2012.

What are some of your favorite

I love coming to your blog! And I've always been a huge Depp fan. My favorite Johnny movies would have to be Fear and Loathing... and Dead Man. He is def. one of the best actors around.

Wow. My fave? There are so many... Sweeney Todd is great cause he sings and is so passionate! Benny & Joon because he was cute & silly. Dead Man - very funny movie. Fear and Loathing - classic acting skills. Cry-Baby - totally hot! Edward Scissorhands - classic, weird, hot. and Of course, Pirates... Jack Sparrow is hot.

I guess I love him for his looks too but it's not just that if he wasn't who he is... in his selection of roles, not being "too macho" to wear make-up, and over quirkiness... would we love him so? Johnny is a special unique hottie and i loves him!

Great post!! :)
