Paramount's 'Paranormal Activity 2' Teaser is Unleashed

Warning: this trailer contains some spoilers from the first movie. So do you think they can pull off another hit or was the first one a fluke? Paramount has debuted the first official teaser for Paranormal Activity 2. This teaser gives us our very first sneak peak at the concept of this sequel, the setting, and who might be returning. I thought the first film was actually really good and I was definitely scared throughout the movie. I think they could pull it off again, but I'm not going to hold my breath. However, I am a huge scary movie fan, so I'm definitely going to see this in theaters regardless. Anyway, have a look-see.

Paranormal Activity 2 is directed by American filmmaker Tod Williams, otherwise known as Kip Williams, who previously directed indie flicks The Adventures of Sebastian Cole and The Door in the Floor. The script was written by producer/writer Michael R. Perry, who has mostly worked in TV writing for shows like "The Guardian", "Stephen King's Dead Zone", "Law & Order: SVU." This is a sequel to the original Paranormal Activity shot by Oren Peli at his own home on a budget of $15,000. This movie hits theaters on October 22nd, just in time for Halloween and I guess it's the same day Saw VII 3D is released too (good lord).

Will you be seeing this?

Wow, I didn't think they'd be able to make a sequel, mostly because I wasn't sure where the plot could go. I hope the ghost/demon lady doesn't hurt the baby (or the dog)! AHH!

SAW VII in 3-D? Please tell me you're joking. That's very disturbing. How many different ways and from how many angles do you need to see someone's tongue cut out? Strange.

haha re: Saw. I know right. Stupid! As for PA2, I think they could do a pretty good job. Did you notice the rocking chair moving in the trailer? I didn't catch that 'til I watched it the 2nd time. CREEPY!!
