The Tourist Trailer

Source: Yahoo

Well, it's about time! I've been waiting for this trailer ever since I got wind of it last year. Check out Sony's highly anticipated trailer, The Tourist starring one of my all time favorite actors, Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie as two "mysterious" individuals, as well as Paul Bettany (who I love btw), Rufus Sewell and Timothy Dalton. Even though this has Hollywood blockbuster written all over it, it actually looks pretty good. I like the look and feel of the whole trailer - the energy, the music (I'm a huge Muse fan!), it all looks great. Can't say much for Jolie's hair though - yikes. Looks like a throwback to the 80's, and is it me or does Depp look a lot like Eddie Vedder in this film? It's not a bad thing, just a little uncanny. Anyway, it looks like a fun and entertaining movie with some interesting twists and turns. Can't wait to see it!

An action thriller that revolves around Frank Taylor (Johnny Depp), an American tourist visiting Italy to mend a broken heart. Elise (Angelina Jolie) is an extraordinary woman who deliberately crosses his path.

The Tourist is directed by acclaimed German director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, of the Oscar winning film The Lives of Others. The screenplay was written by Julian Fellowes (Gosford Park, Vanity Fair, Young Victoria), Christopher McQuarrie (Usual Suspects, Valkyrie) and Jeffrey Nachmanoff (The Day After Tomorrow, Traitor). This is a remake of the 2005 French film Anthony Zimmer. Why am I not surprised? Sony Pictures is bringing The Tourist to theaters everywhere on December 10th.

Look any good?

Can't WAIT! First of all, it's JOHNNY DEPP. Secondly, I'd probably watch it just to see

"Attempted murder.

THat doesn't sound so serious.

Not when you downgrade it from murder. But when you updrage it from room service, it's quite serious."
