The Best Of Jesse Eisenberg!

Source: Extra

As Jesse Eisenberg currently receives rave reviews as Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network , I decided to take a look back at this young actor's career, and throws in a few fun facts you might not know. Enjoy!

Birthday Boy
Today is Jesse's 27th birthday. We hope you have a rad day and an even radder year!

The Drummer
He's been playing the drums since he was 8 years old.

Big Brother
His little sister is former child actress Hallie Kate Eisenberg, who starred in “Beautiful” and “How to Eat Fried Worms.”

Eisenberg studied at The New School in New York City’s Greenwich Village. He also had applied and was accepted to New York University but declined enrollment in order to complete a film role. He is now enrolled in college, taking night classes where he plans on finishing his degree later next year.

Roger Dodger

Jesse starred in his first feature film, the 2002“Roger Dodger,” also starring Campbell Scott. Eisenberg plays the nephew of a smooth-talking man who takes him out on the town in search of sex. Eisenberg was sick during the filming of most of the nightclub scene and can be seen sweating in different parts of the scene.

His mom was a professional clown
Jesse’s mother is a professional clown who has performed at children’s birthday parties in their hometown of East Brunswick, N.J. for 20 years.

Jesse stars as a teenager dealing with his parents’ (Laura Linney and Jeff Daniels) divorce, along with his little brother (Owen Kline). This was the film that really put Eisenberg on the map. Watch the trailer.

Dream Job
He would like to someday write Broadway musicals.

Set in the summer of 1987, Jesse centers around a recent college grad (Eisenberg) who takes a nowhere job at his local amusement park, only to find it’s the perfect course to get him prepared for the real world. Watch the trailer!

Eisenberg’s character Columbus comes up with rules to surviving a world that has been overrun by zombies. He also has a phobia about clowns, which is ironic since Eisenberg’s real-life mother worked as a party clown.

Eisenberg plays an Orthodox Jew in Brooklyn who is lured into becoming an Ecstasy dealer by his pal who has ties to an Israel drug cartel. It's actually on DVD today. Watch the trailer!

'Social Network' Co-Star
Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield became good friends during filming. According to Eisenberg, the dramatic rivalry between their characters was hard for the two because it affected them emotionally.

What's Next?
Jesse will star in the comedy 30 Minutes or Less, playing a pizza delivery driver who gets kidnapped by two fledgling criminals and forced to rob a bank within 30 minutes.

What is your favorite Eisenberg film?
