Epic Transformers: Dark of the Moon Super Bowl TV Spot

Source: Youtube

Most people have already seen this teaser since
Paramount aired it during the Super Bowl last Sunday, but I couldn't resist sharing it. Transformers: Dark of the Moon is Michael Bay's third Transformers movie. This new teaser blows the First Teaser Trailer out of the water. Everything about this new teaser is phenomenal. I love the vibe and the intensity of it and how short and to the point it really is. Not only is it an attention grabber, but we actually get to see real footage and it looks awesome. If I don't see another trailer before the movie, I will be completely satisfied. I hate it when they give away too much of the movie before it hits theaters. BOO to that! Bay certainly has a lot to live up to after the last one, and though I mourn the loss of Megan Fox, I'm excited now. The cast includes many of the same: Shia LaBeouf (SHIAAAA!) Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro; as well as new comers: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (she's no Megan Fox), John Malkovich (LOVE him!), Patrick Dempsey, Frances McDormand (adore her!) and Hugo Weaving (awesome!) Check it!

The Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky must help his robot friends defeat enemies like Shockwave.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon is again directed by everyone's favorite explosive director, Michael Bay, of the previous two Transformers movies as well as Bad Boys I and II, The Rock, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor and The Island. The screenplay was written by Ehren Kruger, who co-wrote the Revenge of the Fallen script but went solo this time, and also worked on The Ring, The Skeleton Key and Brothers Grimm screenplays. Paramount is bringing Transformers 3 to theaters everywhere in 3D (are you that surprised?) on July 1st 2011.

Thoughts?

I must be getting old but those types of movies don't interest me in the least. I'm sure younger people will enjoy it, tho, and your review was excellent. Thanks
