WOW! A couple weeks back Columbia Pictures debuted their very first R-rated red band trailer for Bad Teacher. It's about a "foul-mouthed, junior high teacher" who gets into some raunchy relationship mayhem at her school. It stars the likes Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake, Jason Segel, Phyllis Smith and John Michael Higgins. Yeah, this has some foul language, but it still looks funny, it's actually a well-cut trailer. Now I'm not a fan of Diaz, she bugs, but despite that, I still want to see this. It could be fun. And is it me or is Diaz looking really old these days? She is not aging very well. She's trying to play someone fifteen years younger than she really is. Anyway, check out the trailer below and enjoy.
A comedy centered around a foul-mouthed, junior high teacher (Cameron Diaz) who, after being dumped by her sugar daddy, begins to woo a colleague (J.T.) -- a move that pits her against a well-loved teacher.
Bad Teacher is directed by Jake Kasdan, who started out with Zero Effect and on "Freaks and Geeks", then directed Orange County (fun movie btw), The TV Set and Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story previously. The screenplay was co-written by Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg, the duo behind Year One, veteran producers & writers on "The Office" and the Ghostbusters III script - yeah, they're really making that movie. Columbia & Sony Pictures is bringing Bad Teacher to theaters on June 24, 2011.
