David Fincher's Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Trailer

Source: Movie-List

"The Feel Bad Movie of Christmas!"

Over the weekend there was an international red-band trailer that hit the airwaves, causing quite the commotion before it was taken down. And now the green-band trailer has been released for the upcoming David Fincher remake of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. If you were a fan of the original (Swedish) films/books I have a feeling this remake will live up to your gritty expectations. I doubt I’ll be seeing this film in theaters, too disturbing for my taste, but I’ll definitely rent it. Regardles, I’m a huge Fincher fan and had to showcase his work. It's an amazing trailer, one of the best I've seen this year. It totally has a Fight Club-esque vibe to it. I love the music (Trent Reznor's redo of "Immigrant Song"), the editing etc. Stars the likes of Daniel Craig, Christopher Plummer, Robin Wright, Stellan Skarsgård and Rooney Mara. Check it!

A journalist is aided in his search for a woman who'd been missing, or dead, for forty years, by a young female hacker, (Rooney Mara). Based on Stieg Larsson's Millennium series of novels.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is directed by Oscar nominated filmmaker David Fincher, of great films like Se7en, The Game, Fight Club, Panic Room, Zodiac, Benjamin Botton and The Social Network just last year. The script was adapted by Oscar winning screenwriter Steven Zaillian (Schindler's List, Hannibal, Gangs of New York, All the King's Men, American Gangster) directly from Larsson's novel. Sony is bringing this movie to theaters on December 21, 2011. Just in time for Christmas. Feel bad this holiday.

Yes, yes?

WOW that does look good. I wanna see it. Not sure how I feel about James Bond being in the picture but never the less the trailer was compelling.
