Florence + the Machine Contribute a song to Snow White & the Huntsman Soundtrack

Source: Firstshowing

Film Scores definitely add dimension to our movies, same goes for film soundtracks. Sometimes the soundtrack can be better than the movies themselves (ahem: Twilight). It seems to be more and more of a trend, these days, to have artists specifically write a song for a movie too. Don't know if you've heard already, but Will Smith will not be doing the traditional theme song for Men in Black III. The responsibilities, instead, have been passed on to Pitbull, who made a dreadful song called Back in Time (I dare you to listen to the whole thing here). On the flip side, MUSE crafted some awesome tracks for Twilight: New Moon and Eclipse (which are amazing soundtracks, btw), and Taylor Swift did some great work on The Hunger Games soundtrack as well. And now Florence + the Machine have a new song for the Snow White and the Huntsman soundtrack. It seems quite fitting for the movie. Take a look and enjoy!

In this new epic action-adventure Snow White is the only person in the land fairer than the Evil Queen Ravenna (Theron) who's out to destroy her. But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the young woman threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Hemsworth) who was dispatched to kill her, and the seven dwarfs. This is being directed by Rupert Sanders, an acclaimed commercials director making his feature debut. Arrives in theaters this Summer, June 1, 2012.
