Mortdecai Trailer

Source: Firstshowing

"No, I don't need help with my bags,
I have a bloody man-servant."

There are two things I love most in this world - movies and Johnny Depp. Mortdecai, staring the lovely (and ahem, corkey) Johnny Depp, looks pretty silly, almost as if Capt. Jack Sparrow went and got himself a haircut and new clothes. The adventure comedy from director David Koepp is just a teaser, but it already has me hooked. It has a talented, all-star cast and it feels very Wes Anderson-ee, which I love. It basically introduces us to the main character from Kyril Bonfigliol's books. Mortdecai seems to have a bit of a reputation, and it's not a very good one. Take a look...

Mortdecai is directed by (Premium Rush, The Secret Window) and written by , based on the books by Kyril Bonfiglioli. Juggling angry Russians - the British Mi5, his impossibly gorgeous wife (Gwyneth Paltrow) and an international terrorist, debonair art dealer and part time rogue - Charlie Mortdecai (Johnny Depp) has to travel the globe armed only with good looks and special charm in a race to recover a stolen painting that supposedly contains the code to a lost bank account filled with Nazi gold. Ewan McGregor, Paul Bettany & Olivia Munn also star in the film which Lionsgate will release February 6th, 2015

Worthy of your time?
