The Light Between Oceans Trailer

Source: Firstshowing

"One day this will all feel like a dream, I promise."
Studiocanal UK has debuted their first trailer for The Light Between Oceans, starring Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander (LOVE her). The film is set in Australia years after WWI.  It's about a couple who rescues a small baby that washes ashore and how they raise her as their own. This film is based on the book by M.L Stedman of the same title.  And while I didn't love the book, I have a sneaky suspicion I will fall in love the movie. This trailer makes the story seems remarkably beautiful.  It's a heart-breaking story, filled with love and sacrifice. The rest of the cast includes Rachel Weisz, Benedict Hardie and Emily Barclay. This looks truly wonderful, a true Book to Film Adaptation that appears to fly off the pages rather effortlessly. The score is already so dazzling, giving me chills filled with emotions. Check it out...

The Light Between Oceans is both written and directed by American filmmaker , (Brother Tied, Blue Valentine and A Place Beyond the Pines previously). It's based on the extraordinary best-selling novel of the same name written by M.L Stedman. Disney/DreamWorks will release Cianfrance's The Light Between Oceans in theaters on September 2, 2016
